In Townsend Wi we had bed races, we had about 11 teams or so around 250 people showed up they gave it there all, They had names like dich pickels and big units and so on it was really funny to watch all the teams ran down the course pushing a bed with one rider, a five person team four push and one rides. if you check out there web site you will see pictures of the event on birchhillsresort. nent year they hope to have many more teams. if your up for a good run please email for information or call one of the owners at 715-276-6095 a great time had by all.
Just a note to all employers, who need to lay-off all or half there staff! when a company has a Total of say 70 people should'nt the employees hired first have just a little bit of a safty net with who gets cut first, maybe i am wrong but I was always told that and on lay-offs at other Companys that is the way it was done. I would love some insight on this really not to sure About anything anymore, what this has shown me is if you come in on that it doesn't matter how hard you work or how many times you change your plans and go into work on your day off that it just doesn't pay, and the ones that call in all the time and have someone cover there Shift, they get a better deal than the one giving 100 per-cent.
