it's so obvious!  Management has not appreciated or respected football's best quarterback for the past two years.  Why in the world would the most respected, talented quarterback ever have to wonder if he was appreciated.  Now bits and pieces are coming to surface that I saw two years ago.  Thanks Thompson for making a big mess and mistake for the Packers.

Why would anyone want a QB who can't even make up his own mind? I'm retired. No. Im' back. Im retired again. No, I think I want to come back. I don't blame the Packers with going ahead with Rogers. Brett can go get a life and quit playing games with the media.,

Brett Favre is the leader of the pack. He has been for the past 16 years. He is OUR BOY. BRING HIM BACK as the leader of the pack, not as a backup for that arrogant SOB Rogers!!! He just wants the fans to shut thier mouths if they don't get on his so called "band wagon."
Thompson must have his head up his rear end to not take our boy back as the starting quarterback. If Wolfe and Sherman were still here, they would take him back with open arms. By the way it sounds, the Packers have'nt made Brett feel welcome in the last 2 years. Bretts' mother even said that. That is REALLY disgusting!!!
Last year my then 10 year old nephew and I got Bretts' autograph after one of the training camp days in August. He loves his fans and cares about them very much. Not like some of the rest of the organization. Do you think that the arrogant Rogers or Donald Driver would stop and give a ten year old boy their autograph? HECK NO!!!
I have been a Packer fan for over 30 years, but if they don't let Brett come back as our quarterback, I'm done with them. I will go to where Brett goes, if he gets the chance and I hope that the Packers fall flat on their face and NEVER go to another superbowl again.
Rogers will probably get injured early in the season and be out for the rest of it. He is such a wimp! I wish he would just GO AWAY because he is nothing but a BAD DREAM!!!!

All that I can say is that I am done with Brett. As far as I am concerned, he has done the Packers no favors lately. He can't make up his mind. And as for the Packers not "making him feel welcome", that is the exact opposite that he said with tears rolling down his face during his "retirement" press conference. What are we to believe. What he said then or what he is saying now?? Favre is the arrogant one to think that the Packers can not move on with out him. I don't blame Aaron for his comments. No one is even willing to give him a chance!
And if you remember correctly, the Packers would have been in the last Super Bowl if Favre hadn't made an "arrogant" play call (against what the coaches had called) and threw an interception at the end of the Giants game. Think about that!
Give Aaron a chance for Pete's sake! Favre retired and should stay that way. I have lost any and all respect that I ever had for him. (And by the way I feel that way about any player that leaves and then comes back--not just Favre).
I give the Packers a lot of credit for calling his bluff and doing what is best for the team not just one person. Make Favre "reapply" for the starting position.

Brett has done more for the Packers than Thompson will ever do. Brett was always a team player, low maintenance team member for such a high profile person, and also a corporate team player. No complaining, no money demands, offering salary considerations to help out the Packers organization. We all know he loved the game and played it for the sport not the money. However, every Wisconsin citizen should be aware of how much revenue Brett helped the State of Wisconsin general sales tax garner, which revenues go to help build Wisconsin roads, schools, and anything else the state does with the sales tax collected. This situation should never have occurred. Brett had a contract. It was not up in 2007 and it was not up in 2008. Why was he always pressured by management for the past two years with the question of whether he was going to retire or not? When has someone's locker been removed from the locker room and sent back to them? This locker belonged in the Packer Hall of Fame if not remain in the locker room. So what If Aaron had to look at it? I believe this comment was in our local paper. It wasn't at Brett's request. This was Thompson idea. Please correct me if I am wrong on who's "terrific" idea this fiasco was.
There is no reason why probably the league's best quarterback ever would have to wonder if he was wanted back. This is the impression Thompson and whomever else is responisible gave him and that is a travesty.

The top three NEW Brass for the packers are trying to make a laughing stock out of Brett and many unsuspecting people are beleiving them, I think alot that they are saying are half truths, but will we ever know???? I think Brett should be brought back as Starter period. He still has a contract and they should honor it. Rogers only has one year left on his contract and hasnt proved a thing except he can get hurt easily and has a big mouth. And its not Bretts fault that the media makes a big shindig out of every little thing regarding Brett. Bring him back as Starter, give our team a chance, and get rid of the top brass that dont have a clue!!!!!!!!!!

If Brett wants to come back, let him. The question is what quarterback will be the best for the Packer as a team? Let the best player win. If Rogers can out play Brett then he should be our quarterback. If Brett can out play Rogers then he should be our quarterback. With Brett as our leader last year, we almost went to the Super Bowl. He came off a record season and was playing great football. What team would not give him a chance? A lot of fans seem more "hurt" than worrying about what is best for the team as a whole. So what if he wants to come back. If he can bring another championship back to the Packers then let him try. Let him try out and see whos a better quarterback. Wouldn't it be for the Packers best interest? Or are they going to shoot themselves in the foot and throw the possibility away?

Brett should be back up. Dont go running your mouth that you are "retired" then expect people to move over for you when you are ready to come back...sorry, position has been filled. And for you people who have not met Rogers you should't judge. He is down to earth and works hard, for one minute, put yourself in his shoes. MOVE ON BRETT!!

If someone makes millions for a company and then retires, and then decides to come back again, wouldn't that company take him back to help the business make millions more? Its about winning. If anyone says Brett should stay retired, are they really for the Packers winning? Or do they just have hurt feelings? I back the Pack on either direction they take. Its about the better player. Before people say stay retired, let his playing speak for itself. Who is going to do the most this next season for the team? Brett has a contract. Honor it. If he is out played then so be it.

With Thompson running this game, with his evil actions, I think the Packers standings will begin to fall, Thompson didnt make all the money for the packers, Brett did, who wants to watch a nobody screw up the team, I hope after all Thompsons lies that he gets fired, but thats not likely cause the new head guy, who knows nothing about the Packers or Brett is standing behind the Tyrant....
Really wish the Shareholders had the sayso on what happens in the Franchise, not one Egotistical Lyer.
