Socialism, this Bailout, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Social Security, Subsidies for Farms, Small Business, etc. etc...all Unconstitutional. Still don't see it?

 Let me explain.

James Madison is the acknowledged father of the constitution. In 1794, when Congress appropriated $15,000 for relief of French refugees who fled from insurrection in San Domingo to Baltimore and Philadelphia. James Madison wrote disapprovingly, "I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents."

A Few Years Later Representative William Giles of Virginia, condemned a relief measure for fire victims. Giles insisted that it was neither the purpose nor a right of Congress to "attend to what generosity and humanity require, but to what the Constitution and their duty require."

In 1827, Davy Crockett was elected to the House of Representatives. During his term of office a $10,000 relief measure was proposed to assist the widow of a naval officer. Davy Crockett eloquently opposed the measure saying, “Mr. Speaker: I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the suffering of the living, if there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has not the power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member on this floor knows it. We have the right as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right to appropriate a dollar of the public money.”

In 1854, President Franklin Pierce vetoed a popular measure to help the mentally ill saying, “I cannot find any authority in the Constitution for public charity.” To approve the measure "would be contrary to the letter and the spirit of the Constitution and subversive to the whole theory upon which the Union of these States is founded.”

During President Grover Cleveland’s two terms in office, he vetoed many congressional appropriations, often saying there was no constitutional authority for such an appropriation. Vetoing a bill for relief charity, President Cleveland said, “I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution, and I do not believe that the power and duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit.”

James Madison said, in a letter to James Robertson, “With respect to the two words ‘general welfare’, I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.”

James Madison also said, “If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions.”

James Madison laid out what he saw as constitutional limits on federal power in Federalist Paper Number 45 where he explained, “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined . . . to be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce."

Thomas Jefferson explained in a letter to Albert Gallatin, “Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.”

The Fact that we have strayed so far from the Principles of the Constitution shows how many people are ignorant today of what is in the Founding Documents. This is a direct result of the Socialists taking over our Education system. This was done in order so that they could later install their form of Government without protest from an ignorant populace. So far they have succeeded. For how much longer is up to those of us that can see the truth, and  that understand the Constitution.

When President Obama, in the past, talked about how the Constitution should allow for more wealth redistribution it made plain his ignorance of the same documents that he is espoused to have studied. He was supposed to be a Constitutional Law Professor, but yet fails to grasp the most basic of Principles expressed in the Founding Documents.

Read the Constitution.....Teach your Children.....Your Friends...Anyone who will listen.....

Before the day comes when the Constitution is destroyed by the Same Ignorant Public it is supposed to defend.....

There is a  Treaty that was written in the early 90's by the Convention on the Rights of a Child (CRC) run by the United Nations that will remove Parents Rights under the cloak of protecting the child's rights.

The 1990s-era document was ratified quickly by 193 nations worldwide, but not the United States or Somalia. In Somalia, there was then no recognized government to do the formal recognition, and in the United States there's been opposition to its power. Countries that ratify the treaty are bound to it by international law.

Although signed by Madaline Albreit on Feb 16, 1995, the U.S. Senate never ratified the treaty, largely because of conservatives' efforts to point out it would create that list of rights which primarily would be enforced against parents.

Here is a List of things this Treaty, If Ratified, would do:

Ten things you need to know about the structure of the CRC.

  1. It is a treaty which creates binding rules of law.  It is no mere statement of altruism.
  2. Its effect would be binding on American families, courts, and policy-makers.
  3. Children of other nations would not be impacted in any direct way by our ratification.
  4. The CRC would automatically override almost all American laws on children and families because of our Supremacy Clause.
  5. The CRC has some elements that are self-executing, while others would require implementing legislation.  Federal courts would have the power to determine which provisions were self-executing.
  6. The Courts would have the power to directly enforce the provisions that are self-executing.
  7. Congress would have the power to directly legislate on all subjects necessary to comply with the treaty.  This would constitute the most massive shift of power from the states to the federal government in American history.
  8. A committee of 18 experts from other nations, sitting in Geneva, has the authority to issue official interpretations of the treaty which are entitled to binding weight in American courts and legislatures.  This effectively transfers ultimate authority for all policies in this area to this foreign committee.
  9. Under international law, the treaty overrides even our Constitution.
  10. Reservations, declarations, or understandings intended to modify our duty to comply with this treaty will be void if they are determined to be inconsistent with the object and purpose of the treaty.

Ten things you need to know about the substance of the CRC.

  1. Parents would no longer be able to administer reasonable spankings to their children.
  2. A murderer aged 17 years, 11 months and 29 days at the time of his crime could no longer be sentenced to life in prison.
  3. Children would have the ability to choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion.
  4. The best interest of the child principle would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent’s decision.
  5. A child’s “right to be heard” would allow him (or her) to seek governmental review of every parental decision with which the child disagreed.
  6. According to existing interpretation, it would be illegal for a nation to spend more on national defense than it does on children’s welfare.
  7. Children would acquire a legally enforceable right to leisure.
  8. Teaching children about Christianity in schools has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.
  9. Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.
  10. Children would have the right to reproductive health information and services, including abortions, without parental knowledge or consent.

Here is a Quote from Pres Obama on this Treaty:

"It's embarrassing to find ourselves in the company of Somalia, a lawless land," Obama said. "I will review this and other treaties to ensure the United States resumes its global leadership in human rights."

Barbara Boxer said just before Christmas that it will be ratified in two Years.

This treaty has been Signed under President Clinton, but was never Ratified thanks to People in the Senate who at the time understood the Contitution.  Where those people are now...who knows..it appears there is no one left in Washington that understands the Constitution.

If the Senate Ratifies this Treaty, it may very well be the begining of Another Revolution....

It will be the First Blatent Destruction of the Rights in the Constitution of the United States.  And as Citizens we should swear the same oath as the Military, even the President.....to Protect the Constitution from ALL enemies Foreign and Domestic......

Let's hope some Common Sense kicks in..oh wait I forgot who I was talking about..lol

I wrote a blog about this subject last year...but it appears this has come up again..so here we go.

The State of Oregon is getting closer to writing a Law that will tax the amount of Miles you Drive.   No it's not a Joke.  They have been experimenting with GPS systems in Cars that will record how far you drive and Tax You accordingly.   Gee..that will stimulate the economy....

They say that this may be neccessary because the normal avenues for Taxes are drying up.

Well News Flash to Oregon....try spending less....

There are supposedly several states watching the Oregon Program and thinking about adopting something similar....

If they try that in my State (MO)...I'll Ripe the D*** thing right out of my car and leave it on the Side of the Road....You'll get to see me on Cops...as the Tax Facist Police chase me down for wanting to drive Tax Free.......I Bet they would even tax me for the Miles Driven in the Police Pursuit...

But hey.... Maybe they'll name it a Carbon Tax...and then the People will accept it with thunderous applause...

Pres Obama's Aunt is here Illegally in the Country....this was discovered before the election..and yet she is still here.  Obama himself said that he believes that the laws concerning her staus should be followed.   Four Years ago she was instructed to leave the Country by an immigration Judge that denied her request for asylum..but yet she remains.

Now she is again asking for asylum, since her nephew has been elected President.

Should she be allowed to get special Treatment because of Obama?  Or should she Go?

Well a "Green" Advisor to the British Government has said that people with more than 2 kids are going to kill the Planet.  ..wow

Well it looks like Facism is ok as long as it's for the environment..... Actually in the "Green" begining there were those that actually cared for the environment and ment well...Unfortunatly the Green Movement has been taken over by Socialist,Communist, Facist and Power Hungry people in Governments around the world.

There is a Time coming in the near future, if National Healthcare is adopted, where you will see a population control system like China has....Forced Abortions and the slaying of unauthroized children here in the United States.

The question is how many people here in this country will just roll over and take it?  How many people that live in this Free Nation will stand by and do nothing?  Are we a lost Nation?  Have we become such a Self centered Nation that for the sake of supposed comfort we will allow anyhting?

I guess well See.....

Edmund Burke quote - "All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing."

Well there is a Little Problem in the UK over the hiring of Foreign workers in some Union Plants.

Now we can not have both, it's just not possible.   We can't keep electing politicans that believe in the Global Economy and Globalism and still believe that they are Pro-Union.  How can a Union keep Jobs in a Country if the same Politicans they are supporting are encouraging the shipping of Jobs somewhere else....?

It may already be too late, there has been a Global economic forum of some Big Wigs in Business and Politicans discussing the "Failure" of Capitalism...sorry that is the Dumbest thing I ever heard...  Now they believe that we need a Global Regulator to Regualte the Global Economy....Now folks...what regulates Businesses??  Government does.....So that "Conspiracy theory" about a New World Order and a New World Government is no longer a Theory.....it's becoming reality.

So it's either we have Protectionism and Unions....or we have a Global Economy with a Global Government and No Unions...which means you may have to go to another Country to find employment....

Since we will all be One Big Global Happy Family.....

And Unionless...

Sniper rifle software launched for iPod touch
A new application has been launched for the iPod touch to help gun users line up a clean shot at their target.

The BulletFlight app, which costs £6.99 to download from the iTunes store, has been developed by Runaway App to turn the iPod touch into a ballistics computer which the company says can provide “quick solutions in the field”.

Users can mount their iPod touch to their rifle, and then use the iPod’s touch-screen to tap in details about the wind conditions, ammunition type, distance to the intended target and even the wind speed.

Well this morning the assault has Begun!  No, not that one....the one for pushing the "Change" into Electronic Records nation wide.

In the new "stimulis" package they have set aside 20 Billion dollars to "help" hospitals and doctors offices go Digital with their records.  They say it's cheaper, safer and neccessary.  Sounds Great Huh?

Well here is what they are NOT telling you...

Just like Pres Bush's Plan, Obama's Plan will allow the Federal Government to access YOUR medical records without a Warrant.  For "research" and "Public Health Issues"......um like hell.   We have a Right to OUR Property and beleive it or not YOUR records under the Law is YOUR property( for a certain amount of time then it's allowed to be destroyed without your consent).  That is why there are Laws that dictate how much info can be used and given out and to who and what purpose.  This Concept of Gov Access Breaks all of the HIPPA laws I can think of.....they try to get around it by claiming "research" and "Public Health"...but it's just the set up for NATIONAL HEALTHCARE.  Otherwise why have Gov access at all?  The Private Medical Community already does research and there is already a department of Public Health.......THIS REASON IS BOGUS.   They want to be able to micro manage YOUR life and use YOUR Health to either deny you Medical Service after  National Healthcare is adopted and/or Force you to change YOUR life Style (lose weight, stop smoking, etc..etc..) and say since they are paying for your healthcare...that they can dictate YOUR life.

Next they say it's Cheaper....Um No.  The Congressional Budget Office's own Research has said that it will NOT be cheaper and will even force many small Practice's to go out of business over the Cost and upkeep of such a Gov Run System.

The best one...and my personal favorite..is it's safer!   Well there are a Few points I must conceed.  First your records will be able to be seen not only by your doctor here in St. Louis, but by a Doctor in California with a Push of a Button.  The Down side to this?  Your records will be able to be seen not only by your doctor here in St. Louis, but by a Doctor in California with a Push of a Button.....NO Computer system is Hack Proof!  As we have seen with the Credit Card Processing Company in New York Recently where Millions of people's Numbers were Stolen...No Computer system is safe.  You Think it's bad enough with the Internet..imagine if Your Employer could get to see your recrods before they hire you?  Or if a Drug Addict in California get access to YOUR perscription and they add Their info to your Record.

I work in Records in a Hospital.  People are only Human and stupid things happen with records.  Some people have had their records Stolen by employee's and Sold or Kept or just hung on their wall at home.   This happens everywhere....imagine if these same people had access to EVERYONE's records instantly....the damage that could be done in a short amount of time would be mind boggeling.....

In the Long run records may go totally digital....and as long as the Government doesn't have access and is not involved I don't neccessarily have an issue.   But the Plan they are pushing....is Not what they are trying to sell you.

It is important to stay informed and read between the lines.....

Just another example of the Government trying to take more of YOUR Rights and Freedoms and Privacy.....While telling you it's a Good thing.....and you need it.

On the Money Trail: Lobbyists Are People Too, Reid Says

Obama Pledged to Ban Lobbyists, but Senate Leader Says They're "Part of Washington"

By BRIAN ROSS. JUSTIN ROOD, and AVNI PATEL
Jan. 20, 2009

In his historic speech Tuesday morning, President Barack Obama said the era of "protecting narrow interests" is over - an echo of his campaign promise that lobbyists and special interests would lose their clout in his White House. But lobbyists still have defenders in Washington D.C., including one of Obama's most powerful allies, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada).

Reid invited top lobbyists to join him and his supporters for an inaugural brunch Monday where he told ABC News that he will still do plenty of business with them.

"And there's nothing wrong with that," said Reid. "And Obama will be meeting with them too." When asked to clarify his remarks, given Obama's promises to change that part of Capitol culture, Reid responded that lobbyists are part and parcel of the job.

"People should understand that lobbyists, per se, are someone's father, mother, son, daughter," said Reid. "They work for a living." The Democratic leader's sons and a son-in-law have worked as lobbyists.

While Obama has banned lobbyists and their money from his White House, he may find that he can't ban them from Washington or even his inauguration. Indeed, given the number of events in the past few days, there's no sign the city's 15,000 lobbyists will give up their power easily.

Lobbyists funded an array of events including a party to honor the state of Montana that took place in a nightclub decorated with artificial snow and snowboard machine rides. Why hold a party for Montana? The state is also home to Democratic Senator Max Baucus who is now the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, which writes the country's tax laws.

"One little tweak in the code or additional comma or dropped word can have a huge impact on the tax liabilities of companies worth billions of dollars," said Steve Ellis of Taxpayers for Common Sense.

On the Money Trail: Despite Crisis, Wall Street Gets Red Carpet from Obama

ABC News spotted senior Citigroup executive Louis Susman entering an elite party Sunday night for top fundraisers to Obama's inauguration fund and Obama officials, including incoming White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. Citigroup lost $8 billion last quarter, and has taken $45 billion in taxpayer bailout funds. Susman raised $300,000 for Obama's inaugural committee.

"We're talking about an industry that's right in the middle of a bailout program," said Craig Holman of the Washington, D.C. watchdog group Public Citizen. "They want a seat at the table with the Obama administration."

The party, at the swanky Park at Fourteenth restaurant and club in downtown Washington, D.C., wasn't mentioned on the inauguration committee's public Web site. Reporters and cameras were not allowed inside.

Susman could not be reached for comment Monday; he declined an earlier request to appear on camera. A Citigroup spokesperson said the bank was not participating in any inauguration-related events, and any executives present were there in a personal capacity.

Because he raised so much money for the inauguration, Obama's committee would have given Susman some other nice perks: access to a VIP seating area for its Sunday "We Are One" superstar concert at the Lincoln Memorial, a comfortable table inside a high-end restaurant from which to watch the inaugural parade Tuesday, and more.

A spokesman for Obama's Presidential Inaugural Committee said Monday he saw no conflict in honoring Susman with special access and private events, because the group made no secret of Susman's generosity. "We believe this information should be out there," said Brent Colburn, "so the air is clear on who is supporting the efforts of the Presidential Inaugural Committee. . . so we can be clean and open."

"But war, in a good cause, is not the greatest evil which a nation can suffer. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people. A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice – a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice – is often the means of their regeneration. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other." - John Stuart Mill
