Way to Go Brett!!!!  It took an over the hill guy (according to what some say about you) to do what other younger quarterbacks could not accomplish this year... take the Tenn. Titans to their first loss of the season.  I am enjoying your fun loving way on the Jets team and how you taught the team to have fun with the game like you.  Your fun in the game is missed.  I am looking forward to seeing you in the playoff's.

Packer Fans - Maybe you can tell me how a fan who cheered for 16 years and loved every minute of it, and professes to be a true fan of the team can just one day decide to turn on one of their own?  I read and have been told to get over Brett's leaving... to move on.  Well... I do not turn my back on a member of my family and I do not turn my back on my team members either.  No one comes into town for two years and takes what was built for all of us over 16 years should be allowed to come in and knock it down for their own gain in my book.  Those that profess to me and others in these Blogs that Brett was spoiled and he deserved what he got and we the fans that stand up for him and remain loyal to the team and him, should move on.   How can those that profess to be true fans of the TEAM turn their backs on a member of Brett's caliber and talk about him the way that they do?  I will remain true to ALL of the TEAM and those that ever played on it.  The new Management team has done nothing to get my devotion to them.  And, I will be so glad when they leave town for what they did to the other fans to make them turn on one of their proven own.

My Heart is broken over a picture I recently saw in the New York Times, after Brett's first game for the Jets.  For those that still have a heart and wish Brett was still a Packer I want to share this with you.  I just hope it works (the link I am including) so you can see for yourselves.  Here it is:  Pro Football:  Different Green, Same Favre
If you click on this (and I will check myself to see if it works after it is posted) and look at the picture of Brett you will notice something peaking out near his neck.  I see a touch of gold showing.  It looks to me like he is wearing two jersey's under his Jet's jersey.  One being dark green and a hint of the second one in gold.  If that does not show you that he still is a Packer at Heart then you my friends are blind.  I am sure he will do fine in New York ... but he should be here.  And yes, A Rod did a fine job in last nights game... but that is just one game.  The two of them on OUR team would have been our best bet for a sucessful year.  But, management had their own ideas and made sure that was not going to happen.  My beef with them goes back to them being arrogant and self centered wanting their own team that they could get full credit.  With Brett ... they would have to share a lot of credit with Ron Wolf and Bob Harlen.  And they want it ALL.  So I am sad today ... knowing Brett still wants to suit up for his games in his familiar Green and Gold.  He should BE HERE and RETIRE when HE IS READY TO RETIRE.... not be PUSHED OUT like he was.  I just checked and it worked... however when the page comes up click on the whole story and you will see a better picture.

Way to go Brett!   Number 444 is under your belt and you have your first win for your New and Always fans that appreciate you.  God Bless You and may you lead them to the Playoff's.   Wow... I just realized your first official game for a new team and you came up with the three number 4's in your latest record.  How appropriate.  I will cheer you on and my other team too. Only, after what you said today about our management knowing well in advance that you were thinking strongly of coming back... I am going to keep up the fight to get them fired.  They deserve nothing less for your treatment.

Game time is right around the corner... and it sounds like sales are down.  What's up with that?  Could it be that the interest is not there until the team proves itself first?  Is it the Brett factor?  Or is it that the price of the tickets this year and the extra charges being made on those that sell the extra tickets, now that they have to pay $80 for a permit to sell them?  Who gets that money from the permits?  It's definitely different this year.  Could it be the New Management team does not know what they are doing?  I would like to know what you think about this.  Do you support the team?  Can you afford the tickets or are you waiting to see how the team plays? Could it be that because Brett is not here... you do not care to go to the games like you did before? How do you feel about the way things are playing out in Packerland?  Let's talk about this and show how we feel this year.  What do you think?

This is so typical and I thought I would pass on a little something that my cousin from Seattle shared with me tonight.  She had met a women who in conversation told her that she used to live in the Hattiesburg area.  So naturally my cousin being a Packer fan asked her if she knew a guy named Brett, from down there?  And naturally her response was why yes, yes I do.  Not personally but from a happenstance.  She then went on to say that her son had been driving near where he lived when her son's car broke down.  Brett just happened to come along and offered him the use of his truck.  Just told him to take his family home and bring it back whenever he was done with it.  Naturally he took it back the next day but was so surprised that he was a complete stranger and was treated so kindly by Brett.  This happened just this last year.  Doesn't this sound just like the Brett we know and Love?  Goes to show you... he is just one very nice, trusting guy.  The kind of guy that we  know and miss here in Titletown USA!!!

I watched the game ... the news, then the after game coverage ... and shock of shocks...they had the game on again.  The whole thing all over again.  It wasn't bad enough watching it once?  All I can say... is,  ' Thank Goodness it is PreSeason."  So we can break in gradually to getting accustomed to loosing this year.  Ted... your in hopes that this will all blow over and be forgotten...that time will take care of YOUR BIG MISTAKE!  No way... NO HOW ...NOT going na Happen!!!!  Games like tonight will keep it all front and center in the fans minds.  Your Going down Mr. Thompson and your little puppets too.  This will never be forgotten as long as you are still in Titletown USA.  Especially with games like that one.

Was it just me or did I hear a sound track in last nights game?  Fake Cheers?  Now come on ... fans of a sport do not need a sound track to  be added.  Or... is that how High Def sounds?  It was weird to hear at a football game.  (For me anyway.)  I would like to know if anyone else heard it and if so ... how did you like it?  Or maybe they just did it because they did not have enough fans at the game and thought we wouldn't notice.

Some of the bigger picture of what has happened can be explained by the politics of this management. Recently I read, and have been posting a link here and there... to an article that was written by Jason Whitlock. It gives you a better idea of what Brett may have had to face and why things played out the way that they did. So to make sure everyone gets a chance to read this, I have decided to write a blog especially for this link so you can check it out for yourselves. So here it is:

-win-when-it-comes-to-office-politics

Now everyone has a better chance at making a informed decision on the recent loss of Brett. I wonder who will be next to go?

Oh MY GOSH... I just saw that they have posted and will be posting all over the stadium and parking lot  the new rules of Conduct along with the old ...for fans.  So fans be aware... they are now out to get you too.
Once again I suggest... wearing nothing green and gold and sitting very quiet at the game.  Silence speaks volumes!!!!  I think they are thinking that things could get out of hand tonight and are trying to cover their own bums once again.  Just make your statement in silence and believe me the world will notice this is not the same Packer Fan  pool that they are trying to rule.  Just one more example of what the new management wants to shove down our throats.
Stay cool and don't break their rules... after all... they just want to keep your tickets.... for those that they can make into their puppets.

I Raise My Hand

A little ditty I did write as I saw Brett fly off from sight.
I cried, I wept, I sobbed all night.
And then... a rage grew inside of me.
Couldn't the whole world look and see.
Just what the management had done.
Yes, they think that they have won.
I for one say, "NO!"
It is YOU that has to go.
I will work both day and night.
To see that YOU take YOUR own flight.
We Brett fan's will take up the fight.
And work OUR hardest to make this right.
We'll take back the stands that we pay for,
and make sure this happens no more.
Since they wouldn't open the door and welcome back the Great # 4.
We little guy's will make a stand.
For this, I will raise my hand.

Written with love and Respect for #4

I am upset... tonight is the first preseason game and the one that should be leading us to victory is not here.  Management saw to that with their own plans for glory and their team agenda... not connected to the past management that had class and the smarts to see something great in Brett Favre.  THE GREATEST QB EVER TO PLAY THE GAME OF FOOTBALL IN YEARS for the Packer fans and organization!  So, when this game tonight kicks off.... remember to show your disgust for what has brought us to this very sad game tonight.  I ask you to hold your stance in this mess by not wearing Green and Gold.  Show the world tonight that the fans will stay the fight to make a stand against  management, they have got to go!!!!  Let them know it tonight!!!!

Favre Away
Brett flew in and then flew out
Jets are his future with this there is no more doubt.
But as I sat and watched this turn take place,
I wanted to just sit and hide my face.
With shame I watched Management at it's worst,
I had not yet completely filled my thirst.
So I now fly along to see,
I am a Brett Fan
and ALWAYS WILL BE!

Go Brett
and
Go Jets!

Now that some time has passed and I have had some time to think about how I will handle my grief of loosing the Best Quarterback to ever play the game... and having been a Packer fan through the good times and the bad... I have come to some decisions. I will ALWAYS support Brett and try hard to respect the feelings of others... Just not those that talk badly about Brett. I will now support the JETS! Their games will be the ones I want to watch now. However, I will still watch the Packer games since I am a Packer Backer. I will support most all of the team players from afar... I just do not support the management and NEVER WILL .... once they are GONE... I will return to the fold of full fledged Packer Backing. I will not wear the Green and Gold until that day. I will withhold any Packer purchases until that time and do all that I can to see that the Management is kicked to the curb for what they mindlessly did to the Organization, Community and fans.
1. Did they think about the fan split
2. The Loss of Revenue for Everyone
3. The Businesses in the State (Motels, Restaurant's, Travel
Agents, Charities etc. This list goes on and on.)
4. In one day we went from a Team and Organization to be
looked up to... to a Team and Organization to be laughed at
for being dumb enough to give up one of the Greatest QB
ever to play the game. They single handedly made US to
look like fools... country bumpkins... hicks with no
knowledge on how to handle and hold onto the status Ron
Wolf and Bob Harlen brought the Organization to, under
their watchful eyes and hard work. (In a mere 2 years and
and less they did all they could to undo what they worked
hard to build.)
5. Did they think of any of this when they started this fall into
motion. NO! Their is no betterment for this Organization no
matter how hard they say they did this for the betterment of
the Packer Organization.
6. Maybe... just maybe the Board of Directors haven't thought
of this yet either? But they WILL when it starts to effect the
Organization and some of Their Businesses. We can only
pray and work hard to make sure that this is brought to
their attention quickly.

I also just got done watching the press conference and seeing those three..( Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest) and it made me just sick. They try to think we fans are stupid and that we can not see when they lie and evade what they have done. Brett saw it... lived it with them doing that to him (trust lost) and I can see it and know most of you can see a bunch of liars when you see them. Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest HAVE GOT TO GO! And in time... I am confident that they will. When revenue drops and the fan base is not there... the Board of Directors will have to take actions for the betterment of the Organization. When they are gone.... and they will be... the Packer Organization will return... to unite once again and be better for their being gone. They will be
forever remembered as the ones that got rid of the BEST QB and took down a (once used to be) United Organization. That WILL COME BACK... unfortunately... not until the three D's are FIRED!

Hi Everyone!
I heard some good news and sure pray that what I heard was correct.  (Either way I guess we will find out more very soon on this.)  I heard that another TV Station bought the right to air 5 of the Jets games locally.  Thank YOU ... THANK YOU!  So... we that do not have cable can still watch OUR TEAM LEADER play football.  This is such good news to me and I am sure to most all of his real fans.  Jets may you fly high and know you will with Brett as your pilot.
