Has anyone thought about why the Packers took two QB's in the draft???? Don't you think Ted is a little concerned that Aaron will get hurt? Has Aaron pledged his heart and soul to the Pack? Come on look at what Ted is doing here. Everyone knows Rodgers is gonna get hurt, early on in the season more than likely.

So when someone says to me "Why should we bring back Brett? You have to think of the future." Ok so we know that even if Brett came back it would be for 1 maybe 2 seasons at the most. Got it! Then what? I have a pretty good feeling that in that amount of time Rodgers will no longer be playing for GB anyway. Then we start back at square one with Brahm or Flynn. So why not let Brett give it one more try? Why not try to get the players he has asked for in the last couple of years? If Ted would have done that when Brett asked him to, we may very well have had another SuperBowl victory!

FIRE THEM BOTH NOW!

The more this story is told the more discusted I get! Ted Thompson has told his last lie to this Packer fan! He has wanted Brett out for the last few years! So he tried to make it look like Brett was just not sure and waffleing on his retirement. What a CROC of S---! He lied to the media every single time he has talked since this has all started comming out.

Brett told Mike McCarthy that he was thinking about comming back and Ted flies to Mis and tells Brett he wants to give him is carved out locker??? WTF??? This is not a man who is acting in the best interest of the team!

My opinion is that Brett has a HUGE HUGE legacy and it over shadows Ted and he can't fit them both in Lambeau Field, so he has to get rid of one of them...so he pressed Brett to make a decission before he was ready. SHAME ON YOU TED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the Monday night game in Oakland when Brett chose to play after his dad died! I have been to a few games in Oakland... it's not a very good place to go if you're not a Radiers fan. The fans there are brutal, they will eat you alive!

Brett played with sooooo much PASSION, that the fans in that stadium were speechless! There were grown men dressed up for the "Black Hole" , tough men, with tears in there eyes! Brett did not have to play in that game, but he did! HE DID! He played with soooo much PASSION there was not a dry eye in the house!

He continued to play when his wife was sick! His kids were picked on at school! He gave Green Bay 16yrs of his life and this is how the Packers Admin repays him??? Ted says he is worried about Brett's legacy??? Brett's legacy will stand long after Ted is gone and no one remembers his name!

Mike McCarthy??? What a joke you turned out to be! You are nothing but a kiss BLEEP! Get your nose out of Thompson's rear end!

BRING BRETT BACK!

He has done more for this town and this team then either one of you ever have or will! People will always remember his passion, and his records!

The only thing you two will be rememberd for is your STUPIDITY!

What a ride!
Current mood: optimistic

Okay so it did not turn out the way we wanted, but I'm not gonna let that one game take away from what the Packers did this year!  They are a great team and they have come soooo far in such a short time! They banned together and gelled as a team early on this year and it showed. Yes, they are the youngest team in the NFL, but that seemed to work in their favor.

It is a heartbreak and a huge let down...but my team did not let me down! For whatever reason it was not to be this year.  And I must say as much as I dislike the Pats, I will enjoy watching them take out the Giants in the SuperBowl.  The Pack will be back next season and we will be better than ever!

So as I die hard Packers fanantic I will still stand tall and support the team I have come to know and love.  My veins will still bleed GREEN & GOLD! The walls in my home will still be adorned with the Pack memorabilia.  I will continue to spend hard earned money to gain more Packers swag!  My heart will still belong to the Green Bay Packers!

So to my team I say this...

THANK YOU!!! Thank you for the wonderful memories this year... Enjoy your time off.  Take some time for yourself. Take some time for your families. Enjoy your hobbies and off season interests. Wake up everyday with the excitement in your heart knowing that next season you get a clean slate and 16 new oppertunities to charge again. Know that when you step back onto the sacred, hallowed ground of Lambeau...I your loyal fan will be there to cheer you on! I will be there to chant "GO PACK GO", and scream until I have no voice left when the enemy offense takes the field! I will be there in victory and in defeat, because you are my team and I am your fanatic!

I am a married. I have a 4 yr old son. I played right side linebacker in an all womans league in CA. It was a league with all the same rules and contact as the NFL. I fell in love with the sport and the more I played and learned about football and it's history...the more I fell in love with the Packers! The history of the team the field, Saint Vince and Father Curley! This was an obvious conection my husband and I shared when we first met. My family and I moved to WI from NV in Oct this year. Our son is almost school age and we wanted him to grow up in a better city than Reno, NV. So Wisconsin was the only choice for us. My husband is a life long Packers fan, having grown up in Minnesota he would go with his father to watch the Viqueens play and there he saw the Packers and Coach Lombardi for the first time. He was in AWE of Coach Lombardi and became an instant Packer fan. So now we are bringing up our son in De Pere and with any luck maybe...just maybe we will be the proud parents of a Green Bay Packer player!
